Reza Chapman is a cybersecurity, technology, and risk transformation executive with more than 30 years of experience advising boards, CIOs, CISOs, and executive leadership teams. He is known for connecting cybersecurity strategy, enterprise governance, and technology modernization to measurable business outcomes, helping organizations strengthen resilience, accelerate transformation, and manage risk with greater precision. His approach emphasizes practical decision-making, disciplined execution, and aligning security investments with the risks they are intended to address.

Reza has built and led cybersecurity consulting practices, managed multimillion-dollar businesses, and directed complex technology and security transformations across healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, and other regulated industries. His work spans cybersecurity strategy, AI enablement, cloud modernization, regulatory compliance, enterprise architecture, and operating model transformation. He brings particular depth in helping organizations navigate the intersection of emerging technologies, evolving regulatory expectations, and enterprise risk, translating complex technical challenges into actionable strategies for business leaders.

Most recently, as Associate Partner at Infosys Consulting, Reza advised organizations on technology transformation, cybersecurity, generative AI, and enterprise IT strategy. He directed a multiyear outsourcing initiative for a global manufacturer, overseeing the transition and ongoing delivery of enterprise technology and security operations. He also developed AI-enabled automation capabilities using agentic architectures and large language models, achieving service improvements of 30 to 40 percent in pilot environments. His work included advising a utilities provider following a significant cyber threat campaign and leading technology and cybersecurity due diligence and integration planning for a global financial services transaction.

Previously, Reza served as Managing Director at Nordic Global, where he led the cybersecurity advisory practice serving healthcare providers. With responsibility for practice strategy, business development, talent, and delivery, he oversaw capabilities spanning virtual CISO services, security governance, identity management, cloud security, incident response, and managed security operations. At Slalom, he directed an organization of approximately 110 consultants generating more than $52 million in annual revenue, leading technology, cloud, data, and digital transformation initiatives.

During his tenure as Managing Director and Security Executive at Accenture, Reza held senior leadership responsibilities within the firm’s healthcare cybersecurity practice. He advised major healthcare organizations on enterprise cybersecurity strategy, third-party risk, identity management, and security operations, including serving as security client partner for a $3.6 billion health solutions company. He also advanced the firm’s CISO leadership development capabilities and contributed research on healthcare data breaches and regulatory enforcement.

Earlier in his career, Reza served as National Healthcare Cyber Security Leader within EY’s Advisory Services practice, leading cybersecurity and regulatory compliance programs for major healthcare payers and providers. He participated in industry working sessions contributing to the development of the original NIST Cybersecurity Framework, bringing practical perspectives on security governance, regulatory risk, and enterprise controls. His experience also includes serving as Principal Information Security Engineer at PayPal, where he helped establish enterprise security governance and risk management capabilities across PayPal and eBay.

Reza is the founder of Standing Watch Advisory, originally established as Chapman Consulting, through which he advises organizations on cybersecurity governance, technology risk, and regulatory compliance. He has been a frequent speaker at industry forums, including HIMSS and AHIP, and has contributed thought leadership on cybersecurity and healthcare regulatory requirements.

Reza serves on the Management Information Systems Advisory Board at the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona and maintains CISSP and CISM certifications. He also volunteers as a mountain bike patroller and park steward for the City of Phoenix.
