Angela Williams is a results-driven global cybersecurity executive recognized for transforming enterprise security programs into strategic enablers of business growth and innovation. With more than two decades of experience spanning information technology, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, Angela has built a reputation as a change agent, thought leader, and collaborative strategist trusted by boards and executive teams alike.

As Senior Vice President and Global Chief Information Security Officer at UL Solutions, a global leader in safety science and certification, Angela leads enterprise-wide efforts to safeguard information assets and mitigate cyber risk. She is responsible for shaping and executing the company’s information security strategy, ensuring compliance, resilience, and trust across UL Solutions’ global operations, systems, and digital platforms.

Prior to joining UL Solutions, Angela served as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Hillrom, where she developed and implemented a transformational cybersecurity framework that enabled Hillrom’s strategic mission of advancing connected care. Her leadership unified product security, enterprise risk management, and compliance under a cohesive, scalable model aligned with business priorities.

Earlier in her career, Angela held senior technology and cybersecurity leadership roles with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Wayne County, Michigan, and Stroh’s Brewery Company, where she led initiatives spanning enterprise security architecture, operations, business continuity, and risk management.

Angela serves on the Boards of Lumity (Chicago, IL) and the Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan, where she champions STEM education and leadership development for young women. She is also the Advisory Board Chair for ChicagoCISO, and an active member of the eSentire Customer Advisory Board, EY Cybersecurity Client Advisory Council, and the Gartner Global CISO Governing Body.

A recognized advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in cybersecurity, Angela mentors the next generation of security leaders and serves as an advisor to the University of Detroit Mercy Center for Cybersecurity and Intelligence Studies. Her leadership and impact were honored when she was named Chicago’s 2024 CISO of the Year.

Angela holds both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Detroit Mercy. She is certified as a CISM, CRISC, GSLC, CCSFP, CDPSE, and is a graduate of the FBI CISO Academy.
