About Michael
Michael is a technology executive, transformation strategist and board advisor with 30+ years of experience driving innovation, growth and operational excellence in Fortune 500 organizations. As a former partner at two of the world’s most recognized global professional services firms, Accenture and EY, Michael architected one of the most successful global SAP practices in the consulting industry while advising C-suites and boards through multi-billion-dollar modernization programs. Known as a people-first leader, Michael is recognized for his ability to scale complex businesses, lead large-scale digital transformations and align technology with enterprise strategy. He is positioned to offer exceptional boardroom value with a unique combination of operational rigor, technology foresight and cultural intelligence. He spearheaded EY’s strategic partnership with SAP, elevating the firm to a global top 5 ranking among SAP’s ecosystem of partners, reshaping EY’s go-to-market capabilities.
Michael has deep experience in enterprise systems, operational excellence, and risk oversight, and understands how to scale transformation across geographies, industries, and functions. His insight and oversight have directly improved customer centricity, supply chain efficiency, and enterprise resiliency.
As a strategic advisor to board members, CEOs, and CFOs of major corporations, Michael provides leading-edge insights on large-scale modernization, M&A integration, and performance transformation. His clients include globally recognized brands such as Cargill, PepsiCo, Corteva, Tapestry, NVIDIA, BP, and Carrier. From helping a $50B industrial manufacturer consolidate over 20 ERP systems globally to enabling a leading ag-tech spin-off to rapidly establish its digital strategy and scale post-IPO, Michael’s work has enabled organizations to reduce operational risk, introduce new lines of business, and build more agile, insight-driven operating models.
Passionate about leveraging his expertise beyond corporate endeavors, Michael serves on the Industrial and Systems Engineering Advisory Board at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he also lectures on transformation and leadership. His commitment to inclusive growth extends to his role as a board member of The BASE Chicago, a nonprofit supporting youth in under-resourced communities.
Michael is recognized for cultivating strong leadership cultures rooted in empathy, trust, transparency, and equity. He launched and led EY’s “Women in SAP” initiative, a global program designed to attract, retain and elevate women in technology which became a blueprint for inclusiveness efforts across other EY practices.
