We are pleased to welcome Norman Lonergan as an Executive Advisor at acceligence. Norman brings more than four decades of experience building and leading complex international organizations at scale, advising boards and executive teams through periods of rapid expansion, regulatory scrutiny, and structural transformation. His career spans global consulting leadership, industry executive roles, and enterprise governance across more than 150 countries.

Norman spent 18 years at EY in senior leadership roles, where he built and scaled the firm’s global consulting business into an $11 billion enterprise with approximately 80,000 professionals worldwide. Under his leadership, the organization combined disciplined organic growth with targeted acquisitions, strengthened governance and delivery frameworks, and established an integrated operating model capable of serving many of the world’s largest institutions.

Throughout his career, Norman has operated at the center of enterprise strategy and governance during periods of sustained growth and increasing market complexity. He has helped shape leadership transitions, direct global investment priorities, and reinforce oversight structures across technology, risk, and operational expansion. His experience spans economic cycles, crisis environments, and large-scale organizational reinvention.

Earlier in his career, Norman held senior leadership roles at IBM and PwC, where he led major financial services practices and post-merger integrations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He began his executive career as Chief Information Officer of Anheuser-Busch International, serving on the international board and leading enterprise technology strategy across Europe and Asia. That foundation in enterprise systems and operational architecture continues to inform his disciplined, systems-oriented approach to growth and governance.

“Norman has built and led organizations at a scale that demands both ambition and discipline,” said Justin Greis, Chief Executive Officer of acceligence. “He understands how to grow responsibly across markets, align strategy with execution, and lead through complexity without sacrificing operational rigor. That perspective is incredibly valuable to boards and leadership teams navigating high-stakes decisions.”

As an Executive Advisor, Norman will work closely with acceligence clients and leadership teams on growth strategy, operating model transformation, governance, M&A integration, and executive leadership. His addition further strengthens acceligence’s ability to support organizations navigating scale, risk, and long-term value creation in an increasingly complex environment.
