We are proud to announce the appointment of Nidhi Luthra as Executive Advisor at acceligence, further strengthening our leadership in cybersecurity and enterprise risk governance. Nidhi joins us with more than two decades of experience leading cybersecurity and enterprise risk programs inside complex, highly regulated organizations where operational disruption is not theoretical – it directly impacts patient safety, shareholder value, and regulatory standing. She has consistently worked at the intersection of board governance, technology risk, and large-scale business transformation, helping executive teams translate security from a control function into a strategic capability.
Nidhi most recently served as Global Chief Information Security Officer at Baxter International, a Fortune 500 medical technology manufacturer operating across connected patient platforms, pharmaceuticals, and nutrition. Trusted by the board, she led enterprise cybersecurity and technology risk programs while advising senior leadership on regulatory exposure, operational resilience, and risk prioritization. During her tenure, Nidhi transformed the program beyond compliance to integrate product security, incident response governance, and enterprise risk management alignment – ensuring that cybersecurity decisions were tightly coupled with business continuity and long-term strategy.
Her leadership at Baxter coincided with significant corporate transformation. She supported the integration of Hillrom and the separation of the Vantive business to private equity ownership, leading cybersecurity diligence, separation architecture, and transition service planning designed to maintain operational continuity through change. Her work focused on crystalizing security accountability across entities, identifying operational dependencies, and reducing disruption risk during high-velocity transitions – the kind of disciplined execution that determines whether complex transactions create value or erode it.
Prior to Baxter, Nidhi held senior cybersecurity leadership roles at Abbott, where she led global cyber risk programs spanning corporate systems, manufacturing operations, and intellectual property protection. She partnered closely with engineering and manufacturing leaders to align remediation strategies with regulatory and safety expectations, including support for Manufacturing 4.0 initiatives. Earlier, as Chief Information Security Officer at AMITA Health, she consolidated governance across a multi-hospital system during acquisition integration and strengthened regulatory readiness and medical device security practices. At Stericycle, she led global security and infrastructure modernization across 22 countries, developing a repeatable cybersecurity integration model to support acquisition growth.
Beyond her operating roles, Nidhi is a leader among the broader cybersecurity and governance community. She serves on the Board of Milaan Foundation, advises emerging cybersecurity companies through networks including Cyberstarts, and holds leadership roles within peer communities such as Vice Chair of Inspire ChicagoCISO. She previously served as Co-Chair of the Governing Body of Gartner’s C-Level cybersecurity community and is a graduate of the FBI CISO Academy. Her recognitions include ORBIE Global CISO finalist, Top 25 Women Chief Information Security Officers, and 50 Women to Watch for Boards.
“Nidhi understands that cybersecurity is not a technical sidebar – it is a governance imperative,” said Justin Greis, Chief Executive Officer of acceligence. “She has led risk programs during acquisitions, integrations, and regulatory scrutiny, and she knows how to embed security into operational decision-making without slowing growth. That combination of pragmatism and strategic clarity is exactly what boards and executive teams need right now.”
As an Executive Advisor, Nidhi will work with acceligence clients on cyber risk governance, regulatory alignment, operational resilience, and transaction-related security strategy. Her addition strengthens our ability to support leadership teams navigating digital transformation, product connectivity, M&A, and evolving regulatory expectations – where risk management must move at the speed of innovation without compromising trust.
