acceligence today announced that Yuri Goryunov has joined the firm as Partner and Chief Information Officer, bringing more than 25 years of experience at the intersection of enterprise strategy, technology transformation, and digital innovation.
Yuri joins acceligence after serving as Vice President and Head of Technology Strategy at CVS Health, where he helped guide the strategic direction of digital, data, analytics, and enterprise technology initiatives across one of the largest and most complex healthcare organizations in the world. In that role, he worked closely with the CTO, business unit CIOs, and executive leadership to shape technology capabilities and partnerships supporting CVS Health’s evolving healthcare ecosystem.
Prior to CVS Health, Yuri served as Managing Director of Healthcare Advisory at EPAM Systems, where he helped establish and scale the firm’s healthcare industry vertical. His work focused on helping healthcare organizations apply emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced digital platforms to modernize operations, improve patient experiences, and unlock new sources of growth.
Earlier in his career, Yuri was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he worked extensively across healthcare, private equity, and digital transformation. He advised boards, CEOs, and executive teams on enterprise growth strategy, operating model redesign, technology modernization, and large-scale transformation programs. Over the course of his consulting career, Yuri led board-level strategy initiatives, supported investors through complex due diligence and M&A efforts, and helped organizations execute multi-year transformations that delivered significant operational and financial impact.
“Yuri brings an exceptional combination of enterprise technology strategy, AI expertise, and real-world transformation experience,” said Justin Greis, Chief Executive Officer of acceligence. “He has advised boards and executives on some of the most complex technology decisions organizations face today, and he understands what it actually takes to translate strategy into scalable technology and data capabilities. As companies rethink their operating models in an AI-driven world, Yuri’s leadership will be instrumental in helping both our firm and our clients navigate that transformation.”
As Partner and Chief Information Officer, Yuri will lead the firm’s internal technology strategy and play a central role in shaping how acceligence deploys advanced data, AI, and digital capabilities across its consulting platform. He will also work with clients navigating complex enterprise transformations, particularly where technology strategy and operating model design intersect.
“Organizations today are facing an unprecedented convergence of technology disruption, AI innovation, and industry transformation,” said Goryunov. “What excites me about acceligence is the opportunity to build a firm designed for that reality – one that combines deep technology expertise, strategic insight, and disciplined execution to help clients navigate moments of real inflection.”
Yuri earned a Master of Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Denison University. He lives in the Chicago area with his family and is passionate about technology trends, leadership and mentoring, and the evolving role of enterprise technology in shaping the future of organizations.
