Crain’s Chicago Business’ 2026 feature recognizes 135 professionals across accounting, consulting, and law whose work shapes business, civic life, and the courts. The honorees guide clients through high-stakes matters involving transactions, regulatory change, growth strategy, and other critical business decisions. Justin Greis is among this year’s honorees.

“I am deeply grateful to Crain’s for this recognition and honored to be included among so many accomplished leaders who contribute to Chicago’s business community,” said Greis. “I am especially thankful to the clients who have trusted me with their most important challenges, the colleagues and friends who have supported and inspired me, and my family, whose love and encouragement have made this journey possible. Every chapter of my career has been shaped by people willing to share their trust, wisdom, friendship, and belief in what we could build together, and I share this honor with all of them.”

After more than 25 years of advising clients through transformation, growth, and change, Greis founded acceligence in 2025 with a vision to build a modern, AI-powered management consulting firm designed for a new era of business and technology. The firm brings deep expertise in technology, cybersecurity, risk, and strategy to help leaders move forward with clarity and confidence in an increasingly complex world.

In addition to leading acceligence, Greis serves on the National Association of Corporate Directors’ (NACD) Board Advisory Faculty, Ravinia Festival’s executive committee, several private company advisory boards, and the Indiana University Kelley School of Business Dean’s Council.

Greis’s profile appears in the August 17, 2026 edition of Crain’s Chicago Business.
